Digital X Ray
X-rays are the most common radiological examination. No patient preparation is required for routine x-ray examinations. Modern X ray equipment uses very low level radiation.
In digital X Ray examination, the X-Ray passes through the patient’s body and the image is captured by a cassette located on the other side of the patient.
The captured image is then processed by image reader and advanced software. The final image is seen by Radiologist and he writes a report. X Ray is mostly used to examine bones, chest and abdomen. Pregnant women should not undergo a X Ray examination.
At Prime Diagnostics and Imaging we have AERB certified X Ray Machine and we use lowest possible radiation to take X Rays. Image is processed with advanced digital technology and software to produce high resolution digital X Ray images. It takes approx. 15 to 30min for X Ray examination and report by the Radiologist.
